Great Quality, delivered across Australia quickly via express post. Barbed fittings are so grippy they barely need hose clamps. Guage reads in BAR, not PSI. Cannot fault this item.

Bought this product a little while ago now and am very happy with the way it’s turned out. The installation was very simple and didn’t take more than 10-minutes.
Product – Included in the box is the Apollo; an enclosed filter with a strong ABS plastic exterior which bounces the heat from under your bonnet off and allows your car to breathe in the cold air. You also get some vent adapters which you can use to secure a temperature diode which is either stock standard in your car or an aftermarket gauge, and comes in different sizes to best suite the diode you have. The kit also includes a hose which is made from cardboard which is fairly flexible and includes an aluminum film on the inside which keeps the air cool as it is being delivered – great for a universal product – but if you require full metal piping then the option is there to get one fabricated for your vehicle and the Apollo will be compatible. There are also additional parts such as a saddle bracket to mount the Apollo in place which can be obtained from MYC or other K&N; Dealers.
Performance wise – you can feel it, the throttle response is greater than that of a restricted intake and the Apollo delivers cold air straight into the throttle body.
Noise – you can hear the air being sucked through the filter, but the sound of the engine’s cams are not as audible. Remove the hose from the end of the Apollo and it will act like an ordinary pod filter, sucking in anything it can, and really compliments your engines deeper note.
Cost – the cost of the Apollo I think could be bit cheaper due to the fact that the product itself is enclosed in ABS Plastic and not Aluminium or some other material which I would assume costs more. However, you do get what you pay for, and the Apollo works as intended and comparing it to the usual CAI which are fabricated from factory or aftermarket, it is a cheaper alternative.
Overall, the Apollo is a great product which performs as advertised and I can vouch for that. If this product is within your price range then you should definitely consider the K&N; Apollo.

This aftermarket upgrade changes the car completely, with the adjustment it allows you to tune the way the car turns in. Allows for flexibility in car setup for all weather conditions. A must have for all N14 Pulsars.

We fitted one of these to my car (ROLLA SX) and it was just magic. It really cleaned up the side of the car and added a feature that not many cars have, even today. There’s a pic of it in the product description above, so have a look for yourself.
